I am a fine art and documentary photographer currently based in Casablanca, Morocco. I am a member of studio Hans Lucas.
Besides fine art and documentary work, he is also available for different kinds of assignements: fashion, portraits, events, concert and dance photography.
I spent seven years of his life in Beijing, China, and I am fluent in French, English and Chinese.

2017-now: Photographer at Laurent Hou Photo, Casablanca. Member of studio Hans Lucas.
2016-2017: Photographer for ESMOD Beijing (also in charge of partnerships)
2015-2016: Main photographer for China Pictorial (English version, 50 000 magazines printed, monthly).
2014: official photographer of the French Embassy for Croisements festival and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Exhibition in the French embassy Exhibition in the French Institute of Beijing Exhibition in Haikou (Haikou International Youth Experimental Arts Festival).
2013: First commissioned jobs and publications in magazines (The Beijinger).

2017, May: Exhibition of the series "Sun of Seoul" at Tekesi photography festival in Xinjiang, China.
2017, April: Collective exhibition "Legal Aliens" with the series "Urban Alienation" at Yanhuang Museum, Beijing.
2017, February: First place at PDN's "Ultimate Music Moment" Contest in the "Crowd" professional category, with a series about Chinese metalheads at Strawberry Festival 2016.
2016, October: Projection of a series of Beijing street pictures and talk during Beijing Design Week, with Eyes on China Project.
2016, September: Attendance to the “Shanghai through the Lens of International Photographers” project.Photographers in the project included Nick Ut and Neal Ulevich (both Pulitzer Prize winners).
2016, August: Laurent Hou becomes a member of Eyes on China Project, an instagram project bringing 37 excellentChinese and foreign photographers who focus on China. The project has more than 44,000 followers.
2016, August: Lens Culture published a series of his pictures shot in Beijing.
2015, May: Attendance to the “Guangdong in the Eyes of European Photographers” project, withexhibitions in Germany (Munich) and Italy (World Expo in Milan and Roma).
2015, February: Second prize winner of the photo contest “Chinese new year, just share it” with a series“Beijingers Celebrate Chinese New year”.
